Mazzi started taking steps the day after her birthday and a week later was taking several. It was fun having her learn to walk while we were with our families. It is very cute seeing her toddle around... but she is still a baby so don't call her a toddler!!
Sorry your baby is a toddler, mine has decided (at not quite 7 months) that it is okay to start crawling! No one ever asks us if they can grow up do they? Miss you by the way!
