The sick house...

Ashton was sick for a whole week- fever, cough, etc. It was so sad seeing him feeling awful. He was always tired and laying around. He would take a few naps each day which is so odd coming from a child who rarely sits still. He never even asked to play with friends. He would barley eat food and by the end of the week was looking like a little stick.
Poor little guy was so tired.

He fell asleep on the bathroom floor after his bath.
He is finally doing better and I can't wait to get some meat on those skinny bones.
This week Mazzi got thrush and Tera has been sick the last few days with a cough and
runny nose. We took all the kids into urgent care a few days ago and since have been using about six different kinds of medicine on our children. They are all starting to recover. It was a long week being stuck in the house watching Scooby Doo and Dora! Then, just because we couldn't get enough of urgent care, I thought I would go in too. I felt like I was getting thrush also so called to make an appointment, but they couldn't get me in for two weeks and said I should go to Urgent care. I waited in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours with two sick kids and one sleeping baby, thank goodness, before going back to see the doctor and them telling me there was nothing wrong. I was glad nothing was wrong, but wish I had known that before the long wait. Needless to say- don't take good health for granted. Sickness is a good reminder to be grateful for the good health we usually have.

So sad. We missed Ash at preschool. Hope you guys are all feeling better soon. Ehh... we went through the thrush ordeal. No fun at all. Let us know if you need anything.

Wow, it is running rampant through everyone right now! So not fun, I luckily never got a fever and I feel tons better today (finally), but it took a whole week from me! Those pics of Ashton are totally how I felt, exhausted!! I wish I could have slept like that!

All of your pictures of the sleeping kids are so stinkin cute! I am glad the kids are feeling better and that you are ok as well. So sorry to hear about all those trips to Urgent Care because I know how long that takes :( Glad you are on the mend!

glad everyone is feeling better, and you can get out of the house for something other than a field trip to urgent care :>)

that totally sounds like our week too. So sorry. I hate when you wait forever at the doctors to be told you're just sick and it takes time. Hope you all feel better soon.
