We purcahased the ice blocks from Smart and Final and then headed off to the duck pond in Temecula to go ice blocking down the hills there. We had so much fun. My sister came up with some creative ways to go down-
My mom had a great time- so much that she decided she would have to find a place to take my brother and sister-in-law ice blocking back home in Redding.
Ashton and Tera had a blast going down with their Aunt and Nana.
Me and Mazzi just supervised the fun event!

Looks like fun, does it have to be very hot for the ice to melt and get slick?
Did you know they make saddles for this? This is one of the YW's fave activities and we have like 10 seat thingys that screw into the ice so your butt doesn't get wet and you don't slip off... you just slide down the massive hills. It is pretty good fun! :)
Only one thing... you have to have grass and sun! We can't seem to get rid of the snow. But love ice blocking! I am totally checking into that seat idea. That would make it so much easier for the kids. Fun times for sure!

O that is so much fun to do. Wow girl you sure are getting out and doing so much stuff so soon after that birth you amazing thing! Looks like some real fun! California sledding pictures! LOVE IT!
